I loved the presents they gave and hoped that they liked the presents from me as well...............maybe excluding one person. Alicia and Cheryl you should know who I'm talking about.

27th December 2009: EOY COSPLAY EVENT

Late EOY post. But anyway~

Met up with Wen Hui and her brother Quinton at Bugis for lunch first then EOY spamming. But overslept so was late. >_< Hibari Kyoya from Hitman Reborn. Hibari is slim. The cosplayer is NOT slim. Not to mention that the Tsunayoshi in that team COMPLETELY cannot make it. Tsuna looks boyish. Not like some chau ah beng!! D< Mukuro (the guy in the pic in the link) is NOT FAT AND SHORT. The Kenpachi and the Toushiro from one of the Bleach teams really also cannot make it. As well as the Byakuya. *sighs deeply*

Road Camelot does not have pigtails. And no Relo as well.

AND SASUKE MOST CERTAINLY DOES NOT HAVE BROWN HAIR!!! DDDDD<


Now for the really good ones, a very nice Lelouch, a group of good Vocaloid cosplayers, Eileen sempai's Ragnarok Online cosplay, Hakimah sempai's Gokudera (her wig's more awesome now), followed by Sode no Shirayuki (a very good attempt, at that. Didn't think anyone else started cosplaying from the Zanpaktou arc yet but still very good). The Millia Rage from Mika's GGXX team was also fantastic. Then comes a team for...I'm not sure what game but it LOOKS like Dynasty Warriors, their cosplays is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. Can't imagine the amount of effort, money and time put into their props and costumes. Simply fantastic beyond words. The D.Gray-man team was also very good, especially the General Cross and Kanda cosplayers. Oh, and a very sexy Mukuro. *drools*



There was also a very LOL one. Mass Thousand Years Of Pain-ing. (ass poking) Like...OMG LMAO. XD The stupidity yet the amusement.

Then there was also this Hibari figurine. *sniffs* But the thing is. I don't have enough money. So I want to withdraw the money. *sniffle* Then when I got back to the event, the Hibari figurine was gone and there was only Tsuna left. *starts crying and wailing uncontrollably*

And furthermore, I might be spending about $50 on a pair of cosplay boots for this certain character. Still 'might' because the auntie ran out of stock for my size and needs to check back at Malaysia if there's still any then confirm with me. Then if I order the Hibari figurine as well from Pan-in-the-Box I practically don't need to eat for January liao. TT______TT

I have bought Siong Min's present desu. And I've personally made sure that for a certain someone, I've put as much effort into his/her Ch******* present as he/she has put into maintaining relationships with my friends. For now I can just hope that everyone likes their presents >_<;; And I've bought new earphones. Was expecting to get only one, but in the end there was a earphone promotion at Popular Bookstore and I ended up with 2 earphones instead of one. Because it was a BUY ONE GET ONE FREE promotion. 8D

Therefore now, instead of Sode no Shirayuki the Second, I now erm...erm, proudly present the twin earphones, 'Tsukishiro' and 'Hakuren'. Both of them look EXACTLY like Sode no Shirayuki the First (which I thrashed after purchasing the twins), just that they have this little logo on the earphones that differentiate them from their predecessor.


SO. Instead of $25.80, I paid $12.90 for them. Since it's BUY ONE GET ONE FREE. 8D (this is now my favourite phrase currently) But if BOTH spoil I don't know what to name their successor anymore. Unless I name it 'Shirafune', Tite Kubo comes up with new attacks for Sode no Shirayuki or with another completely white Zanpaktou.

Wait, maybe I'll get the light blue ones and name it 'Hyorinmaru'. Or maybe the purple ones and name it 'Orochimaru' 'Katen Kyokotsu' (the design for its Zanpaktou spirit not only bad-ass but is also my favourite). Or the pink ones. Senbonzakura. XDDD

Went to the arcade with nii-san again. Passed Rin Toshite Extreme, so this means that failing was really due to fatigue and not deterioration, thank goodness. I've tried a couple of new songs, broke a couple of new records for songs as well and only realised that I've unlocked Queen's Paradise until now. LOL.

When I saw the song I was still like "Eh? I unlock already ah?". With nii-san going "=.=" beside me.


Then for KOF MIA, nii-san got to and through boss stage. While I died at stage 7 for at least twice because of a random and excessively violent character. Or some stupid mistake. TT_____TT

Next, we challenged each other and nii-san, dunno if it's deliberate or not, left me with the spoilt controller. Then started abusing my characters for two times in a row. Like... "DOOD. I'm the one with the spoilt controller. Take it easy, won't you?!"

Yesh, and nii-san's Xiao Lon is still as bian tai as always. XP

I re-used Mignon and tried Ninon's front kick on her, since those two are sisters and have similar movelists. Then discovered the fun of it, which is: IT CAN BE DONE AGAIN AND AGAIN!! 8D So I just kept spamming the joystick and D button until the opponent countered the attack. I even lost count of how many times I did it. XD

I shall say everything in point form. Again.

1. Common test now over.

2. Tuesday's papers, Marketing and Bioinformatics are simply mundane. I don't have hold much hope for Marketing but I THINK I should pass Bioinformatics.

3. Wednesday paper, Medical Microbiology. Dang I still have 3 reports undone. And the teachers weren't so cruel as to not give any exam hints and still spring the most difficult questions on us. At least what I remembered came out, so I'm not expecting to die for this paper.

4. Thursday paper, Protein Technology. The word "ARGH" sums it all up nicely. Although it was supposed to be a ridiculously easy paper,

5. Friday paper, Introduction to Immunology. I was supposed to study in the night, but a short nap had extended into a full night sleep. I was like "F***" when I opened my eyes and found myself staring at a dimly lit sky. Then had coffee in the morning and ended up cramming last minute (again) and made several Bleach references to what I studied. And it actually helps.

Persay, macrophages. And Soi Fon. When she's in action (in blood), she goes into Omnitsukido uniform (monocytes). When she's not (in tissue), she wears her Shinigami uniform (macrophages). Then she can kill lots of Hollows and Arrancars (efficient and mass phagocytosis) and can send out calls for her Omnitsukido squad for back-up (signalling to recruit cells).

Then we have Mayuri (yes, Mayuri) and basophils. When facing an enemy (pathogen), he releases poison (histamine) from his Zanpaktou to fight, but because it's poison he ends up dealing damage to other people as well (allergic reactions). And he heals painfully.

There was also one with the C5a and 5b complex that I related Aizen to, and that MHC Class II process that I related an inflitration of a Hollow (virus) into Soul Society (host cell) and ended up forgetting what was the original term I used 'Captain molecule' to relate to. I mean...I couldn't write something like 'assemble the Shinigami which would contact the Captain molecule and they'll fight the Hollow together', can I?

Anand will go O.O when marking my paper. Or as a more epic reaction, he'll call me over and ask me "were you watching Bleach when you were studying?"

In conclusion, I hope I don't fail. Because there WERE things I couldn't remember.


6. I failed at both Rin Toshite and SigSig at Bugis. Like... "WHHHHYYYYYYYYY???!!!" Maybe too tired. Was practically begging nii-san to drag me home all the way to Sengkang by the end of the day.

7. "In the Name of Love" Extreme is difficult, but is passable with more practice.

8. Me and nii-san were imitating the disturbing noises from that Death Note x Snow Goose video because there was this pro playing Snow Goose one machine away. That was fun. XD

9. Pwned by 2 insane pros in KOF MIA.

The one with Nagase, Alba and Mai had extremely good timing with his characters. His Nagase was a fresh change from other Nagase one-trick ponies although still somewhat similar. His Alba combo was very original and his Mai really had substance.

The other one. Kim, random, random. Never saw anyone use Chae Lim and Athena that way before. Not to mention "VERY LONG NEVER PLAY LIAO" in capital letters, highlighted in yellow and font size 150.

So far, BPT sucks. The theory was somewhat fine, but the calculations weren't. I'd like to blame this on the lack of a study break, but simply put I don't think I studied hard enough for this module and that I lacked the practice for the calculations. Hopefully can pass. HOPEFULLY.

Although this person has probably no means whatsoever to actually know of this blog...SHE IS THE MOST BLOODY SHAMELESS PERSON I HAD THE MISFORTUNE TO ENCOUNTER IN MY LIFE. She should have known that I had held stubbornly a certain amount of disdain for her ever since secondary school; since Secondary 1, at that, when we were placed into the same class. The Mol. Gen. presentation was wrapped up smoothly on Tuesday, and so far 2 Mol. Gen. report and 1 Protein Tech report handed in. Common test is coming in about a week, now that week 7 has ended. Week 8 is crucial, since there's no study break this time. (screw the timetable) I need to at least pass my common tests, because it'll at least ensure something.

Today I was in the mood for a game for Jubeat, therefore made my way to AMK Hub X-Zone to play. It was in overall okay, I maintained standard more or less but with a couple of new high scores because I attempted new songs like "I love Mummy" (why the hell is this song named "I love Mummy" I seriously don't know) and "Ai no Uta" (which is now level 7 rather than level 10). THEN came this boy with 2 cronies. He looked at the way I played, laughed in my face and said "look at the pro play".

And that wasn't the best part yet. He picked the random Level 9 ~ 10 standard for his second song, the function that randomizes the songs according to their difficulty level. And for his random song, guess what he got. RIN TOSHITE SAKU HANA NO GOTOKU. (I can see your smirk from here, Murphy) And guess WHAT HE SAID. I was expecting something like "Chey. With the additional S I achieved today in Control Extreme. AND I FINALLY UNLOCKED EVANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAYS!!!!!!!!!!!! Not that I'll be playing Extreme. I still have a long long way to go. *meep*

But still got myself creamed in KOF MIA. Simply put, after a bit of thinking, I didn't lose because I lost my touch or anything, ok, maybe a little, but mainly because I didn't have the mood to play. AT ALL. My overall mood at that time was simply DOWN. I don't think I would even have retaliated even if history repeats itself and my opponent ends up insulting me in a very crude way.

Went to the Iluma cosplay event today. To sum up in one word: 'disappointed'. Again.


I went there only at about 2.p.m and looked around for any cosplayers. None. 2nd floor. 3rd floor. 4th floor. 5th floor. No one. Not a single cosplayer or even anyone dressing weirdly at all. Then I went to the 7th floor arcade to take a look and for a couple of games, namely PowerStone 2. I don't know if the difficulty level was too high or it was simply that I haven't touched the game for a really long time but I was pwned at the 2nd stage. Didn't even reach the Pharoah Walker. How embarrassing.


After I was finished, I went outside and before I knew it I saw a big group of cosplayers including but not limited to characters like Uryu, Aizen (when he betrayed Soul Society and his hair was swept up), 2 Sasukes(both doing Shippuden Sasuke), 2 Ls, Mukuro and Dokuro and a couple more cosplayers whose characters I couldn't recognize. The L even offered me a Pocky (I was staring at him). Then came Azmah and Hakimah in their Loveless cosplays.

We talked for a while, felt pretty much anti-social with all that socializing the big group of cosplayers were engaging in and soon decided to go for a walk around Iluma. Then we met Toky above again. And we got bored. And met Tenma, chatted for a while, whined more about being bored while walking around the place and joked about starting a fire so that we could break the glass panel that had a piece of paper with "Break when fire mode" written on it.


Yes, we WERE that bored. Surely you guys knew about what we did out of boredom while waiting for the CAF 2009 event to start? Ask me if you don't. =_=

We waited until about 5p.m for Mika to arrive, and soon met Ki Tat as well. I saw him from a distance and also something else: my Road costume and Relo. Mika borrowed it for his friend for this event while he came as Death the Kid from Soul Eater. It suits him well, but I still think that his Sasuke cosplay was better.

Speaking of Sasuke, one of the two Sasukes at the 'event' didn't actually suit Sasuke. There wasn't anything wrong with his costume but he lacked the aura and and general Sasuke look. Snatches of our conversations about the various cosplayers was generally like this:

Toky: He doesn't suit Sasuke lor. He shouldn't cosplay Sasuke. Mika more suitable.

Hakimah: Yah, I agree. Sasuke fangirl says no.

Me: Yah, Sasuke-hater also says no.

On a completely irrelevant note, I'm currently feeling pretty anti-love now. Something happened today that I shall not elaborate. But I can say that I could feel my heart wrench and ache for him, and nearly cried just by looking at the way he was behaving. It was as if he would really collapse and leave me forever. I had this premonition as I left the house that I'll lose something, and I hope that it won't be him.

I wish him well and hope he won't give up everything just like this.

Went out with Murphy nii-san today and he was late. Again. Well, not say late, rather, somewhat of a case of wrong location to meet. We agreed at first to meet at Dhoby Ghaut. Then he called me and told me to go to Ang Mo Kio because the CD was cheaper there. I've waited for about an hour already, have gotten a seat at MOS burger, which was our meeting place and even ordered my meal expecting him to arrive.


I went to Ang Mo Kio with steam practically coming out of my ears and finally found the dolt, handed him the hat I promised to get for him at Genting Highlands. He ordered his meal and ate, then we went up to the CD shop one level above and bought Madonna's "Celebration" album, one each, and he bought another album as well, tallying at $44.40 total. What a number. 444. Maybe he should have bought 2 others of the same price, so he'll have 888 instead of 444. LOL. Just kidding. Where got that kind of money.

Next he told me that Wan Seng's now working at Zone X, because he bumped into Wan Seng the other day and he was wearing the Zone X employee uniform. Therefore I suggested that we go up there and disturb him. We went up but Wan Seng wasn't there. Shame.

But we played Taiko. And seriously, Murphy nii is good at that thing. I mean, he can even pass Difficult-leveled tunes despite what seemed like his first attempt while I failed everything. I damn suck at coordination. TT________________________TT


Ok, onward to Plaza Singapura. Spammed KOF MIA only to lose to a very violent K', while nii-san completed the game. TT___TT

Meanwhile, there were challenges, 2 of them. Note CHALLENGES and not CHALLENGERS. Because that was the same person and he/she used the same 3 characters; Kim, Iori and Ash. I almost thought I was fucked when he picked out the team but in the end, I won the first round with Xiao Lon, Luise and B.Jenet, then lost the second round. Only because he used the infamous Ash combo non-stop on me with a couple of cheap tactics by Iori.

But ho ho, the idiot didn't know what he got himself into. My Classics were out of hibernation period and they kicked his ass good. They still lost at Stage 7 though. It was all good, with consideration of the fact that I didn't touch Ash for...at least 3 months?

CLASSICS BANZAI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tsugi. Jubeat, usual C for Snow Goose Extreme (I can never get how they do the accelerated part), a pass for Tengoku to Jigoku Extreme (YOSHAAAAAAAAA!!!!!) as well as a pass for a new song "Queen's Paradise" that even nii-san never attempted.

Afterward we headed to Pepper Lunch at Isetan. I ordered Chicken Sukiyaki while Murphy nii-san ordered Beef Sukiyaki and we crapped random stuff while eating.

Then Murphy wanted dessert. Seriously, he's a good example of a black hole. After that meal I feel so full that I was sure I didn't even wanted another drink, and he still wanted dessert. *salutes*

But in the end we got dessert anyway at the Heeren. I got hungry from all that walking from Plaza Singapura to Isetan and back and to Somerset and so on. There was the new...uh, food expressway area where there was this really cool fountain.

We ordered the peanut paste and mango snow ice that Ki Tat got us last time at the dessert shop over there. The mango snow ice is simply heavenly and is definitely worth every cent in $3.20 we paid. It isn't as thick as your average ice-cream and its appearance made it looks like it's been cut from sheets of ice-cream. Really thin sheets of ice-cream. With that it simply melts into your mouth and floods your mouth completely with its sweetness.........I think I may be addicted. Ha. ^^;

As for the peanut paste, the richness of the peanut and its fragrance is so strong that I can smell the peanuts in the paste a table away from where it was placed. With that, the taste of the peanuts is really rich and it's the perfect dessert to warm you up especially after something cold like the mango snow ice.

I am so looking forward to going there again. :D

I'm addicted to Takeshi Kusao's "LONGWAY FROM HOME". He voices Ky Kiske, my ex-husband (until I was 'eliminated by competition' =_=;), my favourite guy and second trump card in Guilty Gear, with Millia Rage as the first. His voice is like...so......bishie. Not like Hideo Ishikawa's deep and oh-so-sexy one but rather it has a certain smoothness and softness in it which is...*sighs*

I've just realised that I seem to have a weakness for guys with sexy or appealing voices. Because I have this fleeting thought of wanting a husband guy with a voice worthy of a VA.

...great, now I'm reminded that Bakura has the same voice actress (yes, ACTRESS) as Ash Ketchup Ketchum from Pokemon. =.= Which killed off half of my love for Bakura immediately after digesting this piece of information.

Along with Sesshoumaru = Ryuuken Ishida. Although it wasn't as bad as the above stated.

And along with Kazuki from GetBackers = Sun Goku from Saiyuki. Which no one would have expected from how drastically different those two characters are.

Lastly with L from Death Note = Usopp from One Piece = Inuyasha from Inuyasha. Which disconnected my brain temporarily.

Voice actors. So amazing, yet so...unexpected. Yeah.

Anyways, went back to NYP today and got the certificates for the German external from Frau Lian. I actually got 85/100 and a 'gut' (good) grade, same with Wen Hui and just below our top student, Willy, who didn't get 'sehr gut', a real shame.

Everyone did their best, nonetheless. So, I don't have any regrets continue taking the module until this far.

Then after taking the certificates, I went to Pasir Ris for just a bit of walking-around, and saw the auntie who used to work back then in the Rivervale Mall arcade, one of my favourite places back then before it closed down. She's now working for the Zone-X there, but I get this feeling that I might not be seeing her for a very long time now. I mean...I don't have any business at Pasir Ris at all. I just went there at first intending to see if those 2 witches at C.O.A.X are still there. It seemed that they aren't but I'm not assuming anything yet. Maybe just one day I should go back and make more trouble for them >D (Per say, "I'm your CUSTOMER now. Customer satisfaction comes first!!! If not I COMPLAIN YOU TO YOUR BOSS!!!!!!!" Mufufufu >D)


Then, spammed Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune again, to 825 HP, for real. FOR REAL. Cuz' I only realised that my car was tuned to 820 HP at C2 level. Now it's for real. Maximum HP. C1 level. But the thing is I didn't actually get this tuning by myself. This guy in the arcade saw me attempting the last story mode required for maximum HP, and failing quite spectacularly made him step in.

He just requested borrowing my car for one game and WHOOSH. He mowed Tatsuya Shima aka. The Emperor/'Blackbird' , Akio Asakura aka. Devil Z and this other random guy down with an advantage of about 100 to 200 metres. AT 740 HP. In the C1 hell-course for fast cars.

My jaw was hanging and I was like 'WHAT THE HELL?!' as he finished the game nonchalantly, as if he'd done it a hundred times. I mean, one of the hardest story modes (at least for me), 740 HP and a hands-down win. *kow-tows to guy*

His driving is absolutely flawless, his gear-changing and turning is completely at perfect timing and it was as if he had this entire C1 course map imprinted into his mind. (I fail TT_____TT)

He's a genius. Period.

And today was my HarbourFront ex-employer's last day. Wish you well for your life, Janet. *salutes*

Don't feel like elaborating on my Genting trip this time. In sumary, I feel really really cheated and I'm losing my touch when it comes to gasha-pon. I mean, I actually got Kurotsuchi Mayuri when I was aiming for either Aizen or Byakuya. There went $8 ringgit.

Oh yes, now Guilty Gear, I-no doesn't prove herself as much of an asshole anymore although she still is a pain to fight. Because they have now introduced a new asshole-of-a-boss to fight: Order Sol.

I-no's easy to get when you have experience fighting her. Especially the danger...whatever, uh...balls? They either form in a curved line or in a big mass, just stay out of the line's way, move accordingly, or defend and eveything'll be fine. Or else she'll wipe your character's HP out with those danger balls scoring something ridiculous like 89 straight hits on your character. And you don't want that. SO, that would be basically how you fight the bitch. The classic boss way: stay out of her attacks' way and attack when you have the chance, AND aim them well.

I was still gloating over my victory over I-no and expecting the game to end when the next stage music played and Order Sol was shown as my next opponent. Reaction? "Oh sh*t."

The asshole's even more powered up than the already super-powered I-no. In EVERY SINGLE MATCH, he goes into a super-powered mode MULTIPLE TIMES that increases his speed and attack power to sky-high levels. Something like KOF MIA Iori's powered mode, only that Order Sol CAN defend, whereas Iori's induce guard crush, therefore disables defense. In addition, Order Sol's powered mode last longer than Iori's, the asshole.

So far in 5 days of spamming, only Millia Rage, my trump card, was able to beat him using Instant Kill, a move that kills the opponent the moment it hits. ONCE. Ky Kiske, my second strongest was able to reach Order Sol, but not beat him.

Baiken and Testament didn't get through I-no, while Bridget and A.B.A didn't even get to I-no stage.


.........Now which arcades in Singapore have Guilty Gear again...? @__@

I'm now writing this from the computer on Genting Highlands. There's an Internet cafe there so...yeah, convienient, but not at all that convienient either because they lack applications like MSN and Flash Player, so you guys'll need to keep in contact either via email or SMS.


Genting didn't change much from last time, only that they STILL DON'T HAVE WANGAN MIDNIGHT MAXIMUM TUNE 3DX THERE. I mean come on, everyone's playing it now and they STILL don't have it. Not to mention the two rows of Initial D just right opposite the Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3 machines. TWO FREAKIN' ROWS. I never knew there'll be a day that I'll say this but I FREAKIN' HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE INITIAL D NOW.

2 entire rows of Initial D 4 and 5 to only 4 machines of Wangan. This isn't fair.


Next, I had my fortune told by some...guy from China, his accent was so heavy that throughout his prediction, I said "huh?" out of incomprehensibility for at least 10 times. He said something along the lines that I'm a clever person, that I have lots of potential and that I'll marry in the future...(NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! I don't wanna marry anyone else except Itachi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

And that I'm not doing well in my studies now but I don't see it as anything too big at all, which I have nothing to say to.

After all that he requested a payment as well as a donation...which totals $128 ringgit. *bawls eyes out*

And on another completely irrelevant note I've locked myself out of my own hotel room and now I'm hoping that my parents will be in time to go back to the other room so that I can get in.


*sighs*

Went to the zoo with Eileen, Jia Huan and Canice on 30th September and all I have to say is that it's one hell of a tiring day. I'm quite sure that we've made at least 1 entire round around the zoo with Eileen's little sister, at that. So this makes exploring and somewhat of babysitting at the same time.


Not only do we go around the place to look at animals, we had to deal with a bit of noise courtesy of Eileen's sister, especially at the section somewhere in between the canines and the primates. There was this noise that sounded like a whoop, and we were in front of a fox/hyena-like canine enclosure, so Eileen's sister imitated the noise continuously, thinking that it came from the enclosure. And the canines 'whooped' back, so she continued and they continued and she continued...............until it started to sound somewhat like a conversation. When we moved further on, however, it turned out that the canines weren't responsible for the 'whooping'. It was the primates. Chimpanzees, if I'm not wrong. So everything was like...=.=;; "So she was communicating with the monkeys all along...?"

LOL.

Then we also went to the kids section (I sound like I'm talking about a department store, but I forgot what that area is called so...XP) and Hui Xin (Eileen's sister) wanted to play in the water theme park there. Somewhat like Wild Wild Wet, but much more smaller with less thrilling rides and more kids-friendly. Eventually after a bit of consideration, we allowed her to and she started splashing around for quite a while.

After we were chased out of the theme park because the workers there needed to clean the water for unspoken reasons, we went to this place with four identical rides and all of us went on it, with Hui Xin trying out the ride the highest number of times. I'm a bit shocked, honestly speaking. I didn't even dare to go on THAT kind of ride until I was about...8? And for some reason, my inner thigh hurt really badly after that ride so I never attempted it again until this trip to the zoo. Kinda glad I did too, the experience was much better than the one back then and I enjoyed myself much more.

Next, after a number of times on the rides, we went to another playground, already somewhat pooped. Hui Xin then wanted us to play catching with her. Seriously. One entire walk around the zoo and she STILL has gas in the tank. Kids with their limitless amounts of energy...Or is it just a sign of us not getting enough exercise?


All in all, that was still one hell of a tiring day.


Onward, I'll be going to Genting tomorrow and I really hope that unlike my last trip, I can enjoy myself to the max. BECAUSE. Of this unfortunate course of action called 'machine maintenance'.
I still had the console card that lasts only for 24 hours. I went up to the First World arcade where all the console machines were and to my surprise, they were ALL SWITCHED OFF. I walked around the place, trying to find one that was not switched off, until a piece of paper caught my eye, bearing the words "MAINTENANCE". So simply put, I was ticked off and demanded a refund from the cashier there. Thank goodness they weren't unreasonable and they did the refund without complaint or argument.

I sure hope that this won't happen again this time. Because I ain't bleeding myself dry with the stimulators. Otherwise I'll be bored too. Very bored.

And for other things that I don't feel like elaborating a lot on:

1. I still have 25 drawings I need to churn out for M.A.I.D.

2. I need money. TT_________TT

3. I maxed out my Wangan card. Again.

4. But I progressed a lot in Story mode, and tuned my car to a maximum HP of 825.

5. I wanna play KOF MIA.

6. I just cleaned up my room today and to my surprise, most of the stuff I threw out belonged to Year 2 Sem 1 rather than Year 1.

7. I finished watching Rozen Maiden and now I'm starting on Traumend.

Holiday blahs

Welcome to a phase named the holidays blahs. This is where the holidays start and you do nothing but slack, mope, and lie around the house moaning for something to do.

Yup, was supposed to get a job but was partly too lazy to, and moreover I don't think that many people would hire students that are only able to work for a couple of weeks and leave just like that. = 3 =


Anyways, I finished watching Chrome Shelled Regios, the anime Ki Tat recommended me and really, quite fortunate that my brain didn't break down due to a serious overload of information. The anime wasn't supposed to educate in any way, but the characters that appeared, the terms and the storyline simply confused me to a certain extent whereby my eyes and brain hurt after watching about 8 episodes at one go yesterday. So...yeah, I slept only a about 6 a.m and when I woke up at 3, my eyes were still hurting. X____X

But I still managed to finish the whole thing. ^^; And now I hope my mother would agree to sparing a couple hundred bucks for EOY cosplay. Most likely Felli Loss from the above stated anime. >______<


Oh, and I PASSED THE GERMAN EXTERNAL EXAM!!! YAY!!!!!! XD I honestly thought I was going to fail due to the below-standard performance by everyone and myself, but we all passed. A real miracle.

But with that, the semestral results are now out and mine are simply............me. Just me. Because I'm not announcing the number up here. My GPA dropped, that's all I'm saying. I don't exactly look forward to Semester 2 because it'll be one hell of a semester, according to Roxas-sempai. *sigh*

I don't feel good, to say the least. No, scratch that. I feel like absolute crap.

Life to me has seemed to dim down so much that I could see nothing but faint shapes and outlines in the dark, and no I am most certainly NOT going blind.


I fail at German. Ok, NEXT.


I HATE THOSE UNCLES WHO THINK THEY KNOW-IT-ALL AND THEY TO FORCE THEIR REASONING ON OTHER PEOPLE. "This is the law.", eh? Well, get this. What I did was merely to try to secure a game for myself, tons of people does this in the arcade and this certainly isn't law that I ABSOULTELY HAVE TO wait for someone to finish before I step in. I've been around I dunno how many arcades since I was around 6 and know your facts before reprimanding me for your son.


Then again, yeah, I know you don't care. You never did. All I am to you is just some useful tool that you could whip out in times of need. Otherwise I just belong in a dark dark corner of your toolbox never to see light again. I'm never thanked for anything I've done for you. And yet I continue. What for? All I see is my stupidity for helping you. You've never really seen me as a friend, have you? All this while I was just an entity that you use to get your own way. And that's all of it, isn't it? I don't even know whether I should laugh or cry over my own stupidity.


Fuck it all.

Saa...after exams. For the rest of the papers:

Molecular Biology and Techniques: Again, very surprisingly, this one I won't die. While the others were supposedly moping and moaning and howling and crying over this paper, I found it...rather okay. The challenge was there, and for several MCQs, I picked my options randomly. But ones behind, the SAQs and the SEQs surprisingly wasn't difficult in my opinion. Then there was actually this miracle that when I looked up to the 'HITACHI' brand projector at an angle above my head, I went SLIGHTLY on fangirl high and remembered the answer to that question. And I was on fangirl high for the rest of the time...until Wen Hui mentioned something about Udo cosplaying and Roxas-sempai burping VERY LOUDLY next to me.


Industrial Microbiology: This one was more than a challenge than I expected, that I'll say. Was too complacent for the paper but then again this paper was something to mope for so hopefully there'll be moderation. And I still have my reports and such so...please don't let me die... >_<;; Cell Technology: I have yet again relinquished marks in tens back to my teacher. 24, to be precise and if I'm not wrong. Dang, really. Not to mention that I've got C for a report or two. Or was it three? Bah, whatever. Kinda worried for this module. >_________________<


Cell Technology: I have generously relinquished a miminum of at least 24 marks back to the teacher, but despite that...I don't care. Well, not really. Even though I got a couple of C's for reports because of my teacher's over scrutinizing. I hope there's moderation.

The Internet is failing and so is Blogger.com. Which is ironic, with all that crap about improving sites so that they can serve its users better.

Bloodlines and Sorority Life on Facebook does not load AT ALL on facebook. That's two of my favourite applications down. T________T

First off, to a certain someone. Although this someone would probably have no means accessible to her grubby hands that could ever allow her to discover the existence of this blog and particularly this post, I'll say this: "I regret giving you my number. No, scratch that. I regret ever knowing you." You know nothing other than to make use of people, take the belongings of other people as your own and are some of the most shameless people I had the misfortune to meet. I've despised you ever since secondary school, I'm sure you have an idea too. You've done your fair share of foul doings and now you're acting like nothing of that sort had ever happened. You need a Civics and Moral Education lesson. And don't expect me to play along to your whim. Nothing good ever happens with someone like you.

Ok, now that THAT's out of my system...

For the papers I took so far:

Analytical Biochemistry: It wasn't so bad although I generously relinquished at least 10 marks to the teacher. I still have my reports and my practical test (A+. YOSH!!!!!! >D) I don't think I'll fail this.

Marketing for Life Sciences 1: Should die, really. I went out with a bigger headache than I went in and I could say that half my brain cells died from solely that paper. It's not as if I didn't study, but more like I didn't understand. Ok, maybe I didn't study the ones at the back, but still that paper was absolutely hateful. And sure, marketing's all common sense but it actually takes memory to remember that common sense, plus like Wen Hui said, common sense's not all that common nowadays. I'm just hoping that I won't break history by failing this because no one's failed this thing before.

Human Biology and Diseases: I didn't have a mental block like I did for Cell Biology last year even if I took an entire week studying it. That, I am grateful. BUT, only if I had actually managed to remember the notes that I took, I'd score even better. Still, there is hope.


Now...ARCADE SPAMMING!!!!!!!

I played Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3DX until my card maxed out 60 plays. *low whistle* So I had to get a new one. I was just pointing at the machine and saying "Don't you dare give me something ugly" when my new card was ejected, featuring none other than the "Emperor" aka. Tatsuya Shima. Well, I don't mind him and he's NOT all that ugly, in my opinion, but that was a second Tatsuya Shima card I have. What a coincidence.

So now I need to tune up my car and work on my Drift driving...

AND. I managed to pwn 8 challenges in one go. >D One guy challenged me twice while another 6, I won all of them. *peace sign* Plus Xiao Lon was getting more and more interesting to use.

I'm not happy, to begin with.

First off, exam. I'm not prepared and I don't want to take it either. And yes, I'm whining about it now when I'm supposed to be downing Red Bull and cramming notes. I have a lot of material uncovered and I won't be the least surprised if I'm actually repeating at least 2 modules next year.

Minus the coming exam blues, raging hormones and emotions playing on extreme wavelengths doesn't help one bit but further deteriorate my mood.

Oh yes, and I suppose the world would never lack assholes. The idiot was the one who disturbed me first on this application which I hit-listed him for. He left me a "not nice" on my wall and the next thing I knew I was killed by the guy again and some other random player. 2 KILLS IN LESS THAN 15 MINUTES. THERE. I hope the asshole's happy by now because I'm not. I DON'T like people attacking me or disturbing me on my applications. I just placed him on the stupid hitlist because of he killed my character. And what? He got back twice. Bloody stupid kisama. Bloody stupid high-and-mighty attitude. Bloody stupid everything.

I need something that I can wreck.

Now that I'm now officially free of the CAF mayhem and such, I'll be updating on CAF itself while I'm away. So refill your empty coffee mugs and get ready for one long rant.

Firstly, CAF. In my opinion, it wasn't as draining as last year's tightly scheduled practices and the cosplayers were certainly better than last year's.

One flaw of this event though, was that the stage was too plain for the event. I like the house though. :D But still I was a little disappointed that the grass that Russell, Murphy and a few others had finished wasn't put up so the background looked particularly empty. Nonetheless, during the real thing, the saikang warriors actually took the effort to use dry ice for several of the cosplayers' opening walks. Now that was a really nice effect for characters like Road Kamelot (my character) and Void (Azmah's). A BIG THANK YOU TO YOU ALL SAIKANG WARRIORS AND NINJAS AND ALL HELPERS FOR THE EVENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU GUYS PWN!!!! XD

Hm, next I'll skip back to my photoshoots. For the first one, which took place in school, and took what seemed like eons to finish. I arrived at the place at approximately 4 p.m or 5 p.m, changed into my costume and waited patiently for Lue Song sempai to come and fix my Road Kamelot wig. But Faustine sempai came early too, and I was already a bit tired from waiting, so Faustine agreed to style the wig. Then came the even longer wait; I sat on the chair holding a plastic bag, while Faustine trimmed, waxed and sprayed and Hougang-sprayed the wig, the stubborn thing just refused to stick upwards and stay there. So even hair pins were used and more spraying and combing and styling and spamming and so on.

Throughout that process, I had to sit on that chair, waiting patiently for my wig to be fully styled while my other fellow cosplayers had their photo shoot, stopping once in a while to think of more poses and leaving the place after they're done. And throughout the process, I was wondering to myself "When will this thing be done?", as well as "Why must Road have such awesome hair?" while fidgeting in my seat and listening to Fook Yu's complaints and ranting. It's not as if that's a bad thing, she's giving constructive criticism and stating facts in my opinion.

Finally by the time they were done, I think the time was already about 9 p.m or maybe even 10.

But another cosplayer was having their shoot so I had to wait even more. Until about 10.30, maybe? Either way, my shoot didn't take long, mostly because it was relatively easy for me to come up with Road poses.

Next, it was Hakimah's (Saya) turn and she didn't take long, in my opinion. Me and the twins were then finally released at about 11 p.m. I reached home near midnight and my mother suprisingly didn't reprimand me as much as I had expected her to. Probably she's just used to me coming home late and I had a valid reason for that.

After my bath, I proceeded to destroy Faustine's efforts on my wig by soaking it in shampoo water. I mean...I had to. Lue Song sempai needed to experiment with it and well... I still feel a bit guilty for that though. >_<;

Otherwise in just one sentence that was one hell of a tiring photo shoot.

And now, the second one; the outdoor shoot. That I had actually enjoyed despite...circumstances out of humanly control (ie. weather).

We all met up at about 9.30 a.m first, or at least we agreed to. I was late and I was rushing towards the Dhoby Ghaut station exit, the time was 9.35 and Fook Yu was emphasizing during the previous day that late-comers would have to go to the venue (Fort Canning) by themselves. I was soooo worried and already had the mental preparation to take a taxi there when I saw Shan. So in the end, no one had actually arrived punctually. Oh well,typical SJCC, should have known better than to panic so much. =_=

As we waited, everyone gradually arrived and we headed towards the place where we camped at the National Museum to prepare for the shoot. I'm more or less bored throughout because the only thing I have left undone was my oh-so-awesome wig, so throughout the preparation period I've made multiple trips to the vending machines to purchase snacks and drinks and disturbed various people and over-doing my make-up. XD

After a lot of spamming and waiting, Lue Song sempai finally arrived and was then rushing around doing make-up for cosplayers and such. I've never seen him rush around like that before; in fact, he was so busy that he even considered taking in a 'disciple' to help him back-comb wigs and maybe do make-up too.

Upon finishing with my wig, he prepared for his own Grell get-up as I went for my own shoot. I had 2 ~ 3 photos taken with Usagi-san, and then was brought to my photographer, Sam for my outdoor shoot. The day was so hot, and we were walking around the place, pausing once in a while so that he could take my picture. And he even bought me a drink and said that it was a treat! He's one nice guy and his photographs were simply fantastic. I never knew that I looked so different as Road Kamelot until he uploaded my photos on sgcafe.com. In fact, for the first time in my life, I feel...defined, if that's the way to put it.

Ok, now moving on to the real thing. 22nd July, the big day that we've all been waiting for. There were quite a few stage glitches and some minor mistakes here and there but otherwise, the full rehearsal was completely fine.

Of course, waiting plays an inevitable part once again as we, the cosplayers grew bored backstage and started to look for any source of entertainment available to us. Entertainment choices included, but not limited to: watching a bit of Hitman Reborn on Azmah's com via Eileen's hard drive; cam-whoring a lot; fixing my hair (courtesy of Mika and Kenneth); fixing all our make-up; playing with the electric fan and making weird noises; making A LOT of omake photos and so on.

So yes, WE WERE THAT BORED. (and Sasuke has a soft side for...hem, plushies, hem)

Then as usual, eating MacDonalds takeaway at that usual staircase, crowded with not only cosplayers but also with some photographers and occasionally a saikang warrior or two. Upon finishing, we waited to be ushered to the stage and...well, I don't think I need to elaborate more.

In my opinion, I think I did a relatively good job of Road Kamelot, but when it's all over, the nagging feeling that it's not my best walk plagued me as I watched the others. And when the past cosplayers had to walk past the big grey wolf for the character listing, I only realised that I should have gave Sherwin (the big grey wolf) a kick before going off but oh well.

Everyone had tried to give it their all for this, and therefore I don't really have anything to say other than I hope that the event would be as successful as it was this year too.
