My supervisor was right; first month is probably going to be boring. Oh yes, my supervisor. She's a nice person, and quite patient too, maybe just a bit too busy a person but oh well. :D

Watched the Nodame movie with Wen Hui, Helen and Yan Ling today. And they were right. Nodame is epic. XDDDD

Genting Highlands (7th march ~ 11th march)

Back from Genting Highlands. And dead tired. But I'll write anyway. .........*sniggers at Bakura video* Okay, you didn't just read that previous line. *innocent smile* *sniggers more*


The trip wasn't as costly as the previous one because there's no fortune teller involved this time. *eyes beadily* Even if it WAS still costly thanks to gasha pon.

It all started with me checking if that first series of Bleach gasha's still there. Turns out that it wasn't. Pity. But there were new ones. And one of them just happened to be a Naruto Shippuden series featuring mainly Akatsuki characters. When I saw it, let's just say my reaction was something like a combination of Kakashi's reaction when he chanced upon the Icha Icha Paradise movie poster and Belarus's door-clawing.


Then I started spamming credits, credit after credit, attempt after attempt, ball after ball, aiming for only ONE single character. No prizes for guessing who. First I got...Deidara, then erm...Naruto, I think, then another Deidara, and so on, until I got a bit desperate and was like... 'I don't care. I WILL SPAM-FORCE HIM OUT IF I HAVE TO.' Then guess what. He came out in the next ball. *cue fangirl hyperventilating and kyah-ing*


But I only have one of him. So he's not going to be given away. WAHA. Too bad for a certain monkey. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA >D Unless he's going to pay me for him. I can mentally visualize him demanding the gasha from me already. Shimatta *washes brain with sodium hypochloride* Well TOO BAD, I AIN'T GIVING HIM AWAY WITHOUT AT LEAST *insert number here* dollars for payment. HA!!!!!!!


Okay, now with the gasha rant done, the Internet rant. Genting has Internet cafes, which is a good thing, seeing that I can go on the Internet easily to check my email (read 'go on facebook') and stuff (read 'quizilla.com').


Bad thing is? Rate's RM$10 per half hour and RM$15 per hour. No, you did not read that wrongly. I went on the Internet for an average of 2 hours per day. That's approximately RM$120 spent just solely on going on the Internet.


In addition, the place was situated RIGHT IN FRONT of the Euro-Express roller coaster lane where the roller coaster dips down a relatively steep curve at the back of the building and accelerates at the front. Which meant lots of screaming. LOTS OF SCREAMING. Per...5 minutes?

Imagine you playing your games or busying yourself with your Facebook application when the background goes "AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!"

There wasn't any screaming at around 6 to 7 p.m though. Guess screamers also needed to get dinner. But they were back at around 7.30p.m. Dang. MAH PEACE. >___< Lastly...the place reeks of smoke sometimes. *lifts scarf to cover nose*
Muuu...now shouldn't they be at least doing something about the smoking even if they can't scrape the roller coaster?

Speaking of smoke, this guy was smoking right behind me while I was playing Guilty Gear in the arcade. At first I thought that perhaps a smoker had just passed by until the smell was too damn strong to ignore. I turned back and there the idiot was, smoking as he stared at the machine. And he went off.

Good. Cuz' I don't appreciate him 'sharing the love', or rather, sharing the smoke. *sticks tongue out* I-no's still a PMS-ing super-powered bitch. Meanwhile, *doses Order Sol with water hose* nitwit still needs a whack over the head. On a final note, I'll stop procastinating with these because this blog needs images. XD

Got this series from the JB shoping trip. Canice helped me to turn out the Hibari (first from the left) (THANK YOU CANICE~~~ X3); Yama (second from the left) was the most difficult to turn out, but managed to turn out anyway. XD Only thing is, his bokken is...curved. O_Q But never mind. SQUEE~~~~

Now I shall begin my usual tradition after exams, and that is to rant about my papers. ^^


Introduction to Immunology: ...I'm glad I made notes at my maternal grandmother's house in Malaysia during CNY break, despite...disturbances. Yeah. And not to mention for the 3 days I stayed up till past midnight and up to 2 a.m just to make them. Because by that time everyone's asleep and there's finally peace in the house. The paper wasn't so bad...at first I was a bit pessimistic about it, but eventually loop holes apply. Especially for the diagram question. I drew a flowchart instead of a diagram and was really worried about it. Until.

"They didn't specify WHAT kind of diagram, and a flowchart also counts AS a diagram." Quote both Wen Hui and my 'mother'.

Unfortunate thing is...I didn't study Tumour Immunology so I bullshited or even left the question blank...oh well. = 3 = There's still hope.


Medical Microbiology: Hurhur. How is it ever possible to cram 14337392947 bytes of information in your brain about all sorts of microbes and mundane laboratory procedures as well as ALL the information about diagnosis about parasites I don't know. Although Miss Low Wai Lin's part is rather straightforward, some others is just "f*ck, I know but I can't remember". And I didn't believe that of all things that came out, I actually didn't even bother to read up on tuberculosis AT ALL. I AM SO SORRY, UKITAKE-SAMA!!!!!!! TT_________TT

That's at least 10 marks gone. But from everyone's performance, I think moderation's in line. Therefore I don't think I'll fail.


Bioinformatics: How 'bout I summarise this using an emoticon. ":DDDDDDDDDDDD" Bullshiting for this paper is fun. Even if Lambo's continuously annoying me with his OST in my brain and Mukuro kufufu-ing non-stop. *duct-tapes Mukuro and Lambo's mouths*


Bioprocess Technology: Quote Xanxus from Katekyo Hitman Reborn. "Fuck this shit." It's not a paper meant for human comprehension. I'll admit that I didn't prepare enough for this module, and didn't prepare as much as I expected. But still...I don't hold much hope for passing. >_<;;


Marketing for Life Sciences II: Is a breeze. Had the Guilty Gear XX OST "Existence" on repeat in my mind while doing the paper. And to think that I was still facebooking, watching Bleach and lol-ing at Shinji's epic face the night before. Oh, and saving a lot of Yoruichi images. (I sound like Soi Fon ^^;;) But yeah, I shouldn't die in that paper.


Molecular Genetics: "We should have known." Sums up the paper quite nicely. A certain someone's exam hints are completely useless, screwed up and cannot be trusted for a good grade. Of all things, the insignificant examples they stated in the notes came out instead of the main focus and information/application areas. THE EXAMPLES AND NOT THE NOTES, MIND. Like...WTF. They're supposed to test on your knowledge and your application skills when it came to the paper, desho? Test us examples for what? D<




Protein Technology: Was cramming last minute for this paper as well. ...1st question was already a whooping 48 marks and that separation question. Didn't know whether to smile, laugh, cry, wail, start swearing or do a Rena Ryuugu laugh and end up dragged out of the exam hall = 3 = Ok, all in all just spammed whatever I can. And hope it actually makes sense. o.o; Some of the questions are just... "Ahahahaha... *whacks* Common sense, dum dum." or "Ahahahaha... *whacks* Why of all things you have to ask this =_=;;" I don't like the paper much. At least more hope than BPT...and in a way, Mol Gen.


Yosh, now that THAT'S done...

Went to JB with Eileen, Jia Huan and Canice and went for the most costly shopping trip in my life. Not that I broke a $1000 vase or anything like that...but... *counts off fingers* I bought white boots, 9 gasha-pon balls (THANKS CANICE FOR GETTING ME HIBARI~ XD) and still had 200 yen in my wallet (the exchange tokens for the gasha there were yen...cool *_*) As well as lip-liner, 2 facial masks and an eye shadow...I think that's all. No, wait, Soi Fon flats as well. At least they sell cheaper than compared to Singapore. = 3 = ...now I need concealer, maybe liquid foundation and loose powder as well but most important is the concealer.

Now on another note, nii-san's in hospital. Visited him in hospital with Wen Hui 2 days before I came to Genting (is writing from Genting now). Glad to say he's still his gore-loving, Madonna, Lady Gaga and Aizen-obsessed self. So more or less fine, I'll say. Hope he's un-pwnable like Aizen as well, that way he'll recover sooner and better.


And on that trip, we went to Pan-in-the-Box and bought him a 5th Division arm-band. Least that we could do. Oh, and a fruit basket. He didn't take the arm-band out of the packaging and start molesting and drooling all over it like I've expected. LOL. XD Meh~
