*red parts for arcade spamming again...

To start off, I haven't been feeling my best this weekend. And I had absolutely no idea what had happened. After going for the CAF audition, I went for lunch and my Japanese class then after class, I had a headache persisting all the way from then till this afternoon. I had no idea why either, because I had just bought myself a can of coffee to perk myself up, drank it then came the blasted headache.

Argh.

It only stopped in the afternoon when I woke up, lay in the bed for a very long time then eating lunch very very slowly until my mother suggested that I take panadol extra and go lie down for a while. And guess what? It worked. The stupid headache was finally gone.

I'll assume that the cause of the headache was due to the serious lack of sleep I had for the week. Maybe I should make a resolution never to be awake past 1 a.m or something.

Next. Kitahara-sensei. My least favourite Japanese teacher so far. He was, in my opinion, one of the most irresponsible teachers I've ever had the misfortune to encounter. His teaching method?

"Oboero!" (remember/memorise in a commanding tone in Japanese) And off he goes, doing I-don't-know-what outside the walls of the class. (I can feel my headache coming back for some reason) But too bad for this class I wasn't even paying attention to what he was saying but rather doodling on the lyrics sheet he gave us. You see, we've moved on a little to translating Japanese songs, or rather, old Japanese songs from at least 30 years ago. I can comprehend why he wants us to do this (a little) but this particular song he picked was simply horrible beyond words. The singer sounded like he was having constipation. I could go through my phone's playlist on shuffle and pick out anything that sounded better than that.

So yeah, all through the lesson I was ignoring him and drawing out original characters on my paper.

NOW. Arcade spamming. There was this *censored* challenger on KOF MIA that uses techniques that are cheap...way cheap.

1. He uses Billy, jumps up and down while smacking your character upside the head repeatedly NON-STOP with his stupid pokey-stick. Or pins you to a corner and starts spinning his pokey-stick like a human fan.

2. Soiree. Non-stop endless combo. First time seeing Soiree used like that. C Stylish Arts, non-stop.

3. I can't really remember who...but if I'm not wrong. Go-shuujin-sama (Ash). I was really ticked off. Enough said.

The way he used these 3 are enough to piss off anyone in this universe who plays KOF MIA. TEME SAITE BAKA YAROU!!!!!!!!!!!! OMAE WA NIN-GEN DEWA NAI!! OTOKO GA NAI, ONNA MO NAI!!!!! OMAE WA MUSHI DA!!!!! OMAE, NANI-SAMA DA?! WATASHI WA TEME DATTARA, WATASHI WA SHINU NO HOU GA II!!!!!! MUSHI!!!!!
Psh. Distasteful.
Improved a bit in juBeat, got A for Daite Senorita Extreme or Hitoiro Extreme, couldn't remember which. But STILL fail at Tengoku to Jigoku. T_______________T

Other than that, not much improvement in KOF... = 3 = Deteriorated a little, in fact.

And I don't ever wanna sleep late unless it's the weekend or holidays. Persisting headaches and giddiness and a fever was enough to convince me on that.

Life ain't good.

Jia Huan wanted me to update my blog...so here I am... = 3 = Otherwise I'll probably be worrying my ass off about other stuff instead of updating the blog and letting it rot...again.

And now...to start off...to nii-san: my earphones are spoiling. When I plugged the earphones into my computer I could only hear one side of the earphones. I had to adjust the thing for it to provide sound into both sides of the earphones. Joy. Hadn't bought it even for one year and now this. Or maybe I've been too rough with it...which I suppose is most likely the cause. I had the habit of just tying them loosely to my phone, dunking them into my bag and being done with that. Now that this had happened, and to maintain things as the way they are, I think I'll get a special case for my earphones to put them in. Should maintain the damage as it is now. But still... *sigh*

School was boring as always. Especially Molecular Biology and Techniques (aka. MBT), which never fails to either put me to sleep or give me a headache with the monotony of the lectures, the dry material that we're supposed to absorb or simply overload of information. Not even coffee can help. Because it'll just give me a slight stomache and then a surge of energy and finally a headache when I listen to the lectures and try to absorb everything. =____=

My earphones are giving me problems again and now where's my warranty for that thing?

And now, random spammages on life. I ordered mui fan for lunch...that meal had a prawn in it and after Eileen kindly peeled off the head for me she placed the head facing in my direction and started tying knots on its...uh, feelers? Whatever you call those two long stringy things sticking out of its head. Then she told the prawn to find me at night because I ate it... -__-

But too bad, I wasn't the one who decapitated it and you were the one who toyed with its dead body so it'll probably find you rather than find me, Eileen. Wahaha~ :D

On a slightly more negative note, I already have 2 reports for the week. Cell Technology and Analytical Biochemistry. Darn. I think I'll be having 2 more for the week.. Darn it all. TT_________________TT

And today's Jubilee X-Zone's last opening day. Which is really enough to make me emo again. Like...where am I going to head to for after-school arcade spamming? X________X

On a brighter note, or to make it sound lighter, I get to save up on a bit of money..................I think. Because of uh...alternatives.

LASTLY, the authority (my mother) gave the thumbs up and now it's more than likely that you'll see me with spiked hair, an umbrella, a relatively girly outfit and Road heels. :D

If I don't succumb to Year 2 stress and back out of CAF, which I do not wish for to happen...that is.

week 3

Ok...so I'm back.

(red parts for arcade spamming again)

Now, about the week...my parents went to Genting from Monday to Thursday, so I was left at home all those days, which all happened to be tiring at the same time. And I can't cook...

You see, on Thursday, I finally made an effort to step into the kitchen to make my own food. I took what I needed from the refrigerator, boiled the water, opened a packet of instant noodles and popped it into the pot. The cooking was pretty smooth at first, after I added the seasoning, the soup turned into an appetizing brown...then I realised I overboiled the water and turned off the heat then dumped the vegetables and crab stick and fishballs in. Then after that i cracked an egg, beaten it and added it into the pot, only to realise that I shouldn't have beaten it in the first place because the appetizing brown that the soup had at first turned into a vomit yellow afer I added the beaten egg. ^^;

After I was done, I look at my bowl of disaster and hope to myself that I won't die of food poisoning after I consume it. Haha... XD

Then for school, Friday was Eileen's birthday. Canice, Jia Huan and I bought her a pair of shoes, and Canice specially prepared a cheese cake for her. After wishing her happy birthday and eatind her cake at Koufu, we took her out for a movie. We watched '17 again'; which was a bit stupid, but nonetheless funny and entertaining enough.

All in all, we had fun.

Now on a completely irrelevant note, I had Pepper Lunch twice in a row this week. Once on Monday and a second on Wednesday. And I've burned a really big hole in my pocket just this week so I'm definitely going to have to cut costs for the rest of May. Maybe reduce myself to eating bread for lunch... X__X It sucks to be poor.

Alrighty~ ARCADE SPAMMING. Had 2 spamming sessions this week, both with nii-san, Wednesday and Friday. He beat me...again. But I beat him twice with Xiao Lon, Luise and Ninon so TAKE THAT, nii-san~ Bohahahaha >D = 3 = Omedetou...and honestly speaking, he's getting good at this. If he plays and persist hard enough, he can certainly give me a real headache, or even beat me.

In addition, I have 2 new teams on the house. Makkuro (真黒: true black/blackest of back/pitch black) and Mashiro (真白: true white/whitest of white/pure white).
The members of the teams are grouped into either team by their personality or fighting styles. For example, the first generation of Makkuro members are Xiao Lon, Ash and Ninon. Xiao Lon because of her sad, negative and fearful personality; Ash because of his evilness and manipulative ways; and Ninon because she specialises in black magic and because of her dark personality.
Then the Mashiro, consisting of Luise, Mai and B.Jenet. Luise because of her powers that I categorise as 'white'; Mai because of her personality and her fighting style (mostly involving fire which is more 'white' tha 'black'); and lastly B.Jenet, same reasons with Mai (personality-wise, she's as stubborn as Mai is but is more ditzy and erm...more open with her words, if I could put it that way) , just that her attacks involve the wind rather than fire.

So yeah. The two teams are finally out, and I didn't have to add Jivatma into Makkuro because that's what I settled for at first before I figured out Xiao Lon. -_-;;

This week's just bleh. Tiring enough but yet rewarding. Then again, that's what life is, ain't it?

Oyasumi~

Hi people~

*note: parts in red are about arcade-spamming. You can skip them if you don't want to read them...

30th April

Last day of school before May Day desu. Not much lessons at all. Analytical Biochemistry was kind of boring and the MBT prac was a bit packed, and the instructions for the practical was very long...yet we had all still managed to finish everything before the designated release time and so...yeah. We're cloning bacteria desu. ^_^

Then after prac, I went shopping at Bugis with Eileen, Jia Huan and Canice at Bugis Village. Then now I got to admit, that place is beyond huge. Got lost at least once there. Oh yes, also my most expensive shopping trip so far in my 18 years of life. I bought myself my first gothic lolita skirt that cost me $25 (could've cost more at places like Banana at Kovan), a boyfriend shirt that I'll need a belt to go with and leggings.

I hope that I can continue to go to that shop that sold the gothic lolita skirt. They have the affordable stuff there and I'll probably be patronizing the shop if I want more gothic/punk lolita stuff.

Had quite a lot of fun although the trip was quite exhausting. And Jia Huan has very good balance. Haha...XD

1st May

I woke up only at 2.40p.m today when I slept at 2 the previous night. Then went out with Murphy nii-san to AMK Hub for a spamming session. juBeat, KOF MIA, the works.

I've tried his favourite song on juBeat...the flower-related one. Basic. But got an S for it. Not bad at all... ;3 But I still fail at Tengoku to Jigoku Extreme. I need to get used to the tempo if I want to pass it. Then afterward I might think of attempting my favourite song, Rose by Anna Tsuchiya.

We had dinner at MOS Burger. I ordered chicken nuggets and a salad after nii-san had commented that I had too much of their cheese burger...which is kind of true so I opted for something different today. Both of what I ordered was decent, at least. The nuggets were more...er, flaky than the ones by MacDonalds but it was still nice. And I like their salad.

Then, KOF. Nii-san beat me. I'm impressed. Additionally, I managed to unleash one new Luise Meyrink Stylish Art that nii-san really liked yet I have absolutely no idea how I unleashed that; and one move where B.Jenet throws her opponent down onto the ground when she captures him/her in a jump and does a spinning move on top of her opponent, which I again have no idea how I did that.

Oh, and I completed the game with my Classic team again. Ash pwns. He knocked out 2 of the bosses (Jivatma and Duke) at one go. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYSSSSSSSS~

And...if anyone's a gamer and interested in a method of fighting that I recommend, persist. It never hurts to stick to the tried-and-the-true moves; ESPECIALLY when you're facing something difficult. If you're looking for novelty in a serious battle, there's a certain risk of failing, either missing a hit and making yourself vulnerable to your opponent or letting your guard down due to your suprise of unleashing that new move. Or both. Like what one of the judges on this food competition said, "Don't bring in or try anything new when you're in a contest, unless you're very confident that you can pull that off well." It applies.

Persisting and going one way can be boring, but it works for me. As long as things work out, there's no harm in going one way all the way.

But if you WANT to look for novelty, best go into training mode. Choose that character you want to explore along with others that you feel safe with. Or maybe make sure that there are no potential challengers to disturb you while you do your thing. Or maybe read up on whoever you're using so you'll have a better idea of what you're doing.

And now on a completely irrelevant note, I want to buy a certain CD that I myself want and would also most likely make Wen Hui go 'KYAH~'. Although I've already spent a lot these days. It ain't that expensive anyway and I hope that CD's still there at the shop tomorrow.

I feel like eating Pepper Lunch too for some reason. Yeah I'm random. And I better save up for the rest of May.

Before I end, here are some random anime images I found on the Internet.
