So I've finished watching Free! Iwatobi Swim Club...

I finished watching Free! (the first season)...only to discover that there's a second season.  The completionist tendencies in me were screaming in anguish and disapproval upon hearing that piece of news.

It all started from just randomly thinking up that notion when I didn't know what to do after an event at City Square Mall.  Ta bao dinner, go home and watch Free.  Partly because I didn't get the hype and I was curious why everyone was getting feels from a swimming anime.

So I did.  And I finished it eventually. But I still don't get the hype.

Okay, it's not badly animatedly, quite the opposite.  Just that story-line wise my brain just threw it into the 'Teenage Shenanigans' and 'Typical' category.  And not to mention that this song plays 80% of the time I'm watching the anime.


I AM NOT SORRY.

And it's good eye candy. Geez sorry for being born female. I just happen to like good-looking males and not cutesy girls we all have our preferences so don't tell me how to live my life when I don't tell you how to live yours k thanks bye

As much as there's an onslaught of things that I want to unleash here and now, it's 2.13 am in the morning and I have work tomorrow.  So I'll sum things up.  It's been very hectic recently after the small blah after my CHEM2210.


The new killer module BIOC2202 expects you to stand up on your own two feet and run towards a pass with a lecturer that has a crappy accent, with the module packed with quizzes, tutorials, the regular lab and lectures and so on.  NAHBEH LAB MANUAL ALSO CANNOT PRINT FOR US AH?

Social-life wise I have a Schrodinger's Experiment shoot coming on on Saturday.  And I'm Armin this time. 8D  People still seem to address me as 'Heichou' though, especially Jean and Gladys.  Cue shit tons of awkward silences when they call 'Heichou' with me and Hakimah replying at the same time.  Because now SHE'S going to be heichou (aka. the 34 year old punk-ass bitch).

Unlike other bending disciplines, Firebending has few defensive moves aside from blocking and dodging. Firebending uses concentrated barrages of fire to overwhelm opponents before striking a fatal blow. Swift, whirling kicks and punches generate diverse shapes for offensive attacks.

The first human Firebenders learned how to bend fire from the dragons that once populated there lands. However, due to the hunting of the species for sport, glory, and titles by Firebenders they are almost extinct.

Firebending has quite a few different techniques. They can control already existing fire around them along with controlling the size and heat of fire. Firebenders can also absorb heat and pass it through and out the body. They can also charge attacks to make them stronger, and can super heat the air causing a rise and air pressure in a small enclosed area with explosive results.

The sub-style of Firebending is Lightning Generation which is done by Master Firebenders. Lightning is also known at the cold-blooded fire. This is the ability to generate and direct lightning, however it requires a complete absence of emotion and peace of mind.

Lightning Redirection is a technique that was created by observing the redirecting techniques of Waterbenders. One is able to redirect the course of lightning strikes by absorbing it through one arm, guiding it through his stomach, and out his other arm. A Firebender can redirect lightning without knowing Lightning Generation.

Some weaknesses of Firebending are if a person has poor breath control, it's lack of defense, a person having a lack of drive, a Solar Eclipse which will temporarily stop the use of Firebending, extreme cold will weaken a Firebender's power, and poor self control can lead to ones power's getting out of control.

Some Firebenders in the series are Zuko, Avatar Roku, Ozai, Azula, Zhao, Iroh, Jeong Jeong, Combustion Man, and Sozin.

Firebending's season is Summer.

The opposing style of bending for Firebending is Waterbending.

Unsettled cosplans to get out of my systems first

Now everything still haven't settle down and gao dim then already have 2 new cosplay plans.

1. Chiyomi Onoda (Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side 2nd Kiss)

2. Naoto Shirogane (Persona 4)

Persona 4 likely will be doing with Gladys and Hakimah.  Chiyomi can start anytime, tentatively for AFA 2014 in December.  Because for some reason EOY (aka. End Of Year) Cosplay event is shifted to August due to Marina Barrage undergoing a year long renovation/facelift.

Therefore EOY isn't REALLY end of year anymore. .........I know.  Here's the gif to describe my reaction when I heard the news.

And the Levi spam is not getting better.  At this rate I might as well just do full out Levi.  Or cleaning version Levi if I can't make the gear.

I think it's been a month since I've updated this thing, no thanks to two exams in one go that require a lot of cramming and understanding of the material.


So, to keep it short, now I've started on a new module and I'm barely keeping my head out of the water because of it's packed schedule.  Not to mention that I'm not feeling my absolute best these days, first coming down with food poisoning and horrible cramps in school of all places earlier on.


I'm not sure if it's my PMS, stress, over-thinking or whatever combined factors speaking but I feel like a pretty damn shitty excuse for a supposedly functional human being who seems to be too damn useless to live.  On the bright side, my Shingeki boots have arrived, my lab partner seems like a pretty cool guy despite the two of us looking like clueless idiots on the first practical session and Cosfest Black Market is this weekend.  Hopefully things will get better soon.  In the meantime I need some social interaction.  And a reason to hold my head up and smile.


To continue things on a lighter note as well, THIS PUNK-ASS BITCH LEVI doesn't seem to be leaving my life anytime soon despite the Schrödinger's Experiment shoot being LONG over since the end of April.  Recently just turned Shingeki gasha and all come out his merchandise.  Namely a mirror featuring him and also a mini notepad.  I didn't dare to try my luck again because if the last piece of merchandise (a roll of scotch tape featuring Survey Corps members) featuring him comes rolling out of the machine...............

I need to let off some steam.  VERY BADLY.

I have been SO BUSY for the month of April so far that I practically need to squeeze time out of my schedule for anything other than work, school and two other projects that I've been roped into.  One of which is Schrödinger's Experiment, courtesy of Azmah, the mastermind of the project, or rather, to be specific, cosplay plan.  

In a nutshell, without giving an explicit yes, I've been roped in as their Shingeki no Kyojin team's Levi (aka. Heichou).  But despite the previous whirlwind of a week, I've had fun. A lot of fun. ^___^  I couldn't thank Azmah and the team enough for the support, the help and the experience they've given me.  To Azmah, especially, for helping me with the harness and cape.  It's been fun working and saikang-ing with you guys.  One thing though.

I won't be starting on the 3DMG gear anytime soon. =________= *runs*

On a side note, I have ordered the Shingeki no Kyojin cosplay boots through Hakimah. *refrains from excessive spazzing*

Studies-wise, everything is still relatively manageable even though I don't deny that the lecture material get super dry and that there are weeks so packed and siong it's not funny. 

Looking ahead, I think it'll be wise to start putting aside time for revision even if it's a month away from the exam.  That aside...please let me pass CHEM1103. .______.;;;;;;;;;;;

With regards to my social life, well...there's something that I'd like to tell a certain someone though he's not likely to come across this blog.

GROW THE FUCK UP.  I'VE ALREADY TOLD YOU THAT IT'S AN APRIL FOOL JOKE. And while you're at it stop being so insecure about yourself.  You're a fine piece of ass and when I've chanced upon your Facebook post about your 'ugliness' and plastic surgery, my first thought is to teleport right in front of you and bitch slap you into next Tuesday if that's what it takes for you to stop you from wallowing in something as pointless as appearance.

Before I end, I'd like to throw a couple of my recent musical obsessions out there. First off, my new power-up song. The very musical piece that replaced both 'X-matic' as my favourite versus theme and 'Nightmare Fiction' as my favourite angry/aggressive OST after a couple of playbacks.

Yes, it's that good. The genre is symphonic heavy metal so it simply just is up my alley. Not to mention DAT AGGRESSION in the song. Not only do I totally dig it, the theme is very fitting for a fight between Ragna and Hakumen, even with the lack of Japanese instruments that scream Hakumen.

This song never fails to make me feel a bit warm and fuzzy inside for some reason. And I don't know how they made piano/classical and dubstep work, but apparently this is proof that the fusion of both genres can result in a fantastic piece if done correctly.
