Cheesier is better.

First things first, I am raving about Yu-gi-oh, don't know or don't care no need to read. Interested parties may proceed. ^~^

Ever known those times where you fanboy/fangirl over certain stuff that'll get you laughed at? Persey...Rock Lee (even if I don't fangirl Rock Lee), or maybe overly loud and epic opera music, or in my case Gameboy Advanced era music. Yes, I listen to those. ^^; Cheesier. Is. Better. =w=

So yeah, I found the soundtrack to my cousin's GBA Yu-gi-oh game and ended up downloading all the battle themes for every character except for Pegasus's theme, because it never fails to piss me off. -_____- The theme fits him so much that it's almost like he's Ohohoho-tsk-tsk-ing in your face while you play against him. Which was why I hated fighting him so much. *mutes*

While Yami Yugi's theme is the BEST. Hands-down. Marik's theme and Bakura's theme is just...creepy, though nice; whereas Seto Kaiba's theme is...pressurizing to an extent. Maybe I'll play it on repeat during study break the coming sem. =w= Wait, I can't concentrate that way because I'll keep thinking that 'It's Kaiba's theme' and smile fangirlishly instead.

Shadi's theme is...just Shadi-ish and Ishizu's theme is...mope-y.

M'okay, and Yu-gi-oh the Abridged series is beyond awesome transcending all boundaries of awesome to reach a new level of awesome. XD

For anyone who doesn't know, or for interested people, Yu-gi-oh the Abridged series is a series of fan parodies online, an extremely condensed version of each episode while "making fun of the eccentricities of the series, most prominently the fact that Duel Monsters is a children's card game, yet is played by teens and adults with unfaltering seriousness and unreal consequences".

Epic quotes from the above series include, but are not limited to:

Kaiba: Screw the rules I have money
________________________________________________________________

Ishizu: Behold, Kaiba, the three Eqyptian God Cards, Obelisk the Tormenter, Slipher the Executive Producer, and Mega Ultra Chicken (Winged Dragon of Ra).

...XD
________________________________________________________________

Ishizu: Pegasus created them to be the most powerful cards in Duel Monsters.

.........*convo*.........

Ishizu: In order to keep them safe, Pegasus trusted them to me. But then I immediately lost two of them.

Kaiba: Way to go...

XD
________________________________________________________________

Kaiba: Shut up and duel me.

..........*convo*..........

Kaiba: Ahh Exodia! it's not possible, nobody been able to summon him!

Yugi: Really? Because it's so rare?

Kaiba: No it's because this game makes no sense nobody can figure out how to do it.

.........*convo*............

Yami Yugi: Kaiba, if you really wish to know, then TALK TO THE HAND!!!!!!

First episode of Yugioh the Abridged Series here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmVGQR3NNdg

...I still like the original series much more than GX and 5D's, especially after Jeremy told me that they had to CYCLE to summon a monster. *insert Kaiba's screw the rules I have money here* NO. Cycling just to summon monsters is NO. Just, NO. NO.

Haguro Tonbo the First, DOWN

Shit. Why now???? TT_TT

Mah. Zanpaktou. Broke. TT_________________TT AAAARRRRGGGHHHHH!! After my dad finished with it and "didn't want to care about it anymore". Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu, NOT MAH HAGURO TONBO, ANYTHING BUT MAH HAGURO TONBO!!!!!!

...what a bad joke. Too bad all the people I wanted to disturb are now asleep or offline so I can't harrass them into going to school tomorrow to accompany me as I remake it. .........TT w TT

Hope that my parents don't find missing stuff tomorrow. Like the Spray Mount and spray paint. *hides*

Rehearsal was as usual. But this CAF just seems particularly corked-up. From end August...drag until mid Sept...then drag until end Sept...which is supposed to be now. With no one panicking at all because everyone knows that it WILL drag until October. Or maybe even November because Danny's going overseas dunno end October or end November.

............well shit.

Burn wallet burn

Haven't been resting well at all these days. >_<

Celebrated Siong Min's birthday on Saturday afer CAF rehearsal (Ban Theng: "Repeat after me!" Jo: *random moment* "We will~ We will ROCK YOU!!! XD"). In summary, very nicely cooked self-made lunch provided courtesy of Rui Yi and Cheryl, followed by roller-blading and a lot of wailing, falling, awkward positions and dehydration via sweating.

Never had such a good workout in such a long long time, and made my feet hurt as much as my first day on the Popular Bookfair work. ==;;

Speaking of which, the Popular Bookfair work, yeah. My first and most likely last time working for the lovely everyone-friendly company that's first on everyone's choice store for stationery, along with Eileen, Jia Huan, Wen Hui, Murphy, Keith and Wai Jit. I was assigned to the assessment department, which occupied one of the arguably largest areas in the expo hall boasting a total of approximately 20 tables as well as at least 5 side tables at the other end of the expo hall. Reaction: =_____________=;;;;;;;;;

Throughout the days of work, I was carrying, lugging, pushing and arranging so many assessment books that I'm sure that if I was given 20 cents for every assessment book handled, I can go throughout Singapore, spam one round of gasha on every gasha machine out there and still have extra cash left.

Yeah, who ever said saikang work's easy? = 3 =;;

At least the customers weren't making a nuisance of themselves and make ur lives difficult...no wait, they were, in a way that isn't conscious to them. It'll be nice if Singaporeans exercised a little more consideration and be more 'automatic' and not make a mess out of the place, dust off the invisible dust on your hands and walk off just like that.

"十万个为什么" ("Ten Thousand Whys") playing on repeat is not helping aching feet, moods ranging from mildly annoyed to nearly pissed off and the blasted headache that struck the first night. *presses mute button on TV*

For the aftermath...made a lot of new friends like another Kenneth other than Zelmer (such a common name), William and Ben and so on.

Ben has an awesome playlist *w* And William has over-active imagination about Kenpachi's Bankai XD

Nao~ for the lovely day of 20th September, went out to JB for shopping with Eileen, Jia Huan and Canice and ended up buying the most things...again. =.=; ...it ain't my fault that Malaysia's stuff is cheaper and I enjoy looting. =w=

AND. In the 'Inner City' area, which was the 'hip' area where all teenagers and young adults go crazy at...houses an AWESOMESAUCE shop named 'I ♥ Hot' or something along those lines. ALL THOSE PLATFORMS SHOES AND HEELS AND FUR AND ZIPS AND SAFETY PINS AND LEATHER AND SHIRTS WITH CHAINS AND STUDS AND LOLITA AND PUNK AND SPARKLES *O*

AND. Sky-high prices. *deflates*

Bought only one shirt from there because I'm a midget and can't fit into men-sizes for gothic punk shirts. And because of sky-high prices. ARRRGGGHHHHH. TTwTT

Next time I go Imma buy a corset. And to the other shop for that sleeveless jacket/vest thing. Need-wise I bought new shoes and the Majolica Majorca pressed pore cover...and more new clothes. *burns wallet*

On a completely irrelevant note, my laptop's fixed. ^^

*incinerates wallet in incineration plant* TTwTT

GSK paid me, so yeah, if I save up a little I'll survive.

Finished and Unfinished

I. Am. Finally. Finished. With. The. Blog. Make-over.

And my zanpaktou. After the sheath broke last rehearsal. =_=; So my father helped me remake a new one and spray-painted it. ^~^ I'm also finished with my hilt wrapping. Which required a lot of fiddling.

Used the method that Rinya taught me, which was to take your wrapping (shoelaces in my case) fold under in a certain angle and fold over again. And repeat until the base of your hilt.

Thank you Rinya~~~ ^^

But because it was the first time, it wasn't perfect, but it was satisfactory (in my opinion). ^^;

So just like this, two extremely dragged-out to-dos are finished. 8D

Then yesterday, watched Resident Evil with nii-san and nearly had a heart attack from zombies coming in and showing their ugly faces in all directions. The part where the zombie came in from a tunnel, and another dragging a man down from the same tunnel, and so on. It happened so sudden and so...errm, creepily that I was sure that if I was in the movie as a cat, I wouldn't have survived.

In addition, they had Mika Nakashima as a cameo, acting as an infected, standing in the middle of a busy Japanese street, looking completely normal and slightly...melancholic (I think it was the rain) until she attacks this uncle after the virus was active. Which was quite scary, not because it wasn't expected but rather because...Mika Nakashima. Zombie. These two words/phrases cannot co-exist in the same sentence. Just...NO. *shudders at thought*

At first when I saw her, the reaction was "Hey...this lady looks so much like Mika Nakashima that it's actually freaky, I wonder if it IS her...no, can't be." then "8D It's MIKA!!!!!!!!" after watching the credits to show that it IS Mika herself, but after that it was "Wait, Mika's ONLY A CAMEO?!!!!! D<" Slow, I know. OTL.

Otherwise, Resident Evil Afterlife is...epic. *applauds* How Alice and her clones kicked the everyone's butts are simply...Alice. No one except Alice can pull off that kind of effect. The part where she runs through a crowd of zombies towards the building was especially memorable. In fact, she looked like the VIP and the zombies looked like the ushering crowd. o_o;; And with a bit of Matrix effect thrown in, it gets even better. Alice, running through a zombie horde, blasting zombie heads with two hand-guns, then out of ammo, throw behind, takes out shot-gun...8D

Oh yah, and the part where her and Claire fights that...Silent Hill rip-off monster was also damn nice. But the poor monster, shot through the crotch and head kena blasted off cleanly.

So we never got to see how exactly the thing looked like. = 3 = Too bad~

On a completely irrelevant note, I unlocked Goodbye Chalon, coming true and Starlit Dust on Jubeat at one go. 3 songs at one go, yeah. *proud of herself* Recently unlocked Sumida, Macuilxochitl (what a name...=_=) and the Stealth marker, which was everything on the menu for Jubeat ripples. *insert win-pose here*

Now, as for the dastard knit tracks...

Oh wait, already need to burn money because I need to fix my com. This time the DVD drive refuses to open or react. Therefore. *burns more money*

...Oh shit, for how long have I not washed my Lisa Yadomaru extensions. O_O

Oh well there's always tomorrow = 3 =; *procrastinates*

Rehearsal tomorrow need to go...and room need to clean up. Debts also need to chase. *eyes beadily*

PAY ME, I COMMAND YOU!!!!!!!! *is broke* TT_________________TT

2010-09-01

It's been a rough period of time.

Last week at GSK was busy with chapalang stuff, from labelling to making tubings to scrubbing adhesives to packing stuff and so on. =______________=

Then after 27th August, my last day, there was still this chalet at Sentosa organized by my colleagues. During barbecue, I ate...dunno how many otahs, a couple of chicken wings, half a baguette with curry...a few hotdogs...3 roller coaster cheese rings...and drank dunno how much 7-UP and liquor. From 5% beer to 40% Chivas alcohol.

My supervisor diluted the Chivas for me with green tea, and the taste ended up...super duper bitter. Sure, it tastes very smooth and swallow-able, but the aftertaste that lingers in your mouth is just...a very very big BLEH. XP

Then after the barbecue there was this charades game...which involved even more drinking (I hope my parents don't ever discover this post). The Chivas was diluted with coke during the game, which made the Chivas taste sweeter but the taste is STILL very BLEH.

THEN, they ran out of Chivas and opened ice wine, which was the really nice wine. It had a bit of fruity fruity and cocktail taste, not as smooth as Chivas but still more appealing than Chivas when it comes to the taste. Up to the point that everyone's trying to lose the game on purpose so that they can drink the ice wine. XD Especially my Material Prep head. Who even tried to use the Facility guys as an excuse to drink.
("I know it's Robin's handwriting!! I know one!! Never mind lah, he not here, I drink for him *reaches for wine*" ..................................LOL)

But the sad thing is.

I broke out in redness after everything. Not the drunk redness, mind, the ALLERGY TYPE OF REDNESS. (I hope my parents never ever find out o_o;)

Therefore CONCLUSION IS: I either cannot drink Chivas or ice wine. Or maybe I just can't drink hard liquor. Since I was fine the last time I finished one entire glass of beer.

I'm tired.

And I want to watch Vampires Suck and Resident Evil.

GAH. Thoughts and emotions on extreme wavelengths. Blogger being an ass nowadays not helping.

...I need to rant.
