It's amazing how quickly you've won my trust. You're not really supposed to know this but...

Lots of love, Yun

I'd rather go deaf listening to L'Arc-en-Ciel than to 3 screaming bitches.

The title more or less sums up the UMVC3 2 hour practice session for today.

I understand that you people have some sort of function maybe for your group of friends or maybe a friendly department gathering. But when you play at the living room area, please keep your volume down and not scream like some rabid bitches when you're about to lose the game or something.

You're in PUBLIC. Not at someone's house.

I'M TRYING TO CONCENTRATE ON MY GAME HERE.

...they kept screaming until I've had enough, decided that I'd rather go deaf listening to L'Arc-en-Ciel than listening to 3 screaming bitches so I took out my headphones and blasted "DRINK IT DOWN" on repeat.

Appropriate in a way that the song drives you to fight harder, at the same time serving as the commercial theme for Devil May Cry 4 and I was using Team DMC (Vergil, Dante, Trish) when I had enough of their screaming.

Then after the girl came by and asked them to quiet down I took off my headphones and started admiring Vergil's smexy Japanese voice...

...

Dante has a really sexy Japanese voice too...

Trish, stop making innuendos...

Yes, Vergil, Dante's foolish and you're still sexy.

Quoted from http://jiidesu.tumblr.com/

“No offense, but if money is tight and you don’t have the time to commit to a costume, you probably shouldn’t be cosplaying.”

Ahaha, wooow. Guys if I followed by this I wouldn’t be cosplaying at all.  I don’t have money to just toss around but I actually dedicate every penny I can to putting it towards a costume. Everyone has different way of doing things. Some people are a lot more anal than others and pay every second to making sure every detail is correct. Some people do it for the craft, some people do it for art, some people do it for the hell of it JUST cause its fun to dress up, some people do it for the love of the character, maybe some people do it for all those things, and im sure there are tons of other reasons, but one thing we all do it for is because it is FUN. And if this hobby isnt fun for you, then that is seriously the only reason you should not be doing it.

There are people out there who don’t have the money. There are some people out there who can’t even sew. But why would that stop ANYONE from creating ART? Not only that, but just basically doing something that you love doing.

What this should say is, If you seriously love the hobby and it makes you happy. DO IT. NO MATTER WHAT. JUST FUCKING DO IT CAUSE IT MAKES YOU HAPPY

Like happiness is all that matters. Fuck what others think, really. No matter what, people will always judge you. I know theres people out there who judge me, and even the best cosplayers out there.  But that should never stop ANYONE because as long as it genuinely makes you HAPPY, then its worth it.

I do agree that people should /try/. Instead of throwing together something “sloppy” and saying “LOL K IM GOOD TO GO 100%”. I mean if you seriously think thats fine, then w/e, its your deal.
Cosplays take time, no matter who is putting it together or how simple the costume is. But I don’t see why people need to be so stuck up about it and ruin someone else’s day.
“All or nothing” is a great thing to go by. Great, YOU GO AHEAD AND LIVE BY THAT. Some do, some don’t. Seriously, mind your own business.

Worry about yourself, your own cosplay, your own costume. Stop trying to make other people stop cosplays just because of whatever reason you may have for them being any less “SPECTACULAR” and perfect in your own eyes. Keep shitty comments to yourself unless someone asks you.

Internet high-five. And have a free cookie.
